Passage: Ephesians 4:7-13
Having taken two weeks for Palm Sunday and Easter, we return this morning to our study in the book of Ephesians. When we last left off, Paul was emphasizing the unity that we have as Christians (one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all). Now, he seems to shift course and begins a section on the diversity of gifts in the body of Christ. However, we will see the connection between these two points as it is in this diversity that the church is enriched and prepared for full maturity so as to demonstrate the unity that is ours in Christ.
