Passage: Acts 1:9-26
We continue in our series in the book of Acts this morning, a series we have entitled To the Ends of the Earth. Our passage records the ascension of Jesus into heaven and the apostle’s selection of a replacement for Judas among the Twelve. These two accounts are actually related and have great significance for the church today. Therefore, we need to spend some time considering the importance of Jesus’ ascension for his church.
