Passage: Proverbs 18:24
“A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” While we may have many (or even just a few) companions, we should understand the difference between a companion and a true biblical friend. Are friendships really that important? What if I’m more of a loner? More independent? More introverted? What if it is hard for me to find someone to trust? In this morning’s sermon, we will take a look at what the book of Proverbs has to say about friendship, hopefully answering these questions as well as demonstrating the importance biblical friendship to the Christian life.
