Passage: Ephesians 4:22-24
As we have studied the fourth chapter of Ephesians, we have clearly seen the importance of a changed life. Christians are to walk in a manner worthy of our calling, not as unbelievers who walk in the futility of their thinking. This is part of what we have been taught in the school of Christ. While all of this is clearly true and I doubt that any of us would take exception with Paul here, experientially it is often a different story. Why does it seem that change is so difficult for us a Christians? Although we know our lives should be different, how do we actually go about changing? Does the Bible give us anything more than vague principles and pie-in-the-sky promises? The answer is a resounding YES and this morning we will look at the power and the process of change through a gospel lens.
