Passage: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11
The word “Day” can be used a lot of ways. For instance we talk of “the day of the horse and buggy” or “the day of the Pony Express.” Today we are going to talk about “the day of the Lord.” After man has been allowed to have his day, the Lord is going to enter into history in a profound way, first in judgment then in glory. This “day of the Lord” is what Paul is talking about at the beginning of Thessalonians chapter 5.
